Project Hope

Project HOPE is a global health and humanitarian aid organization that works to improve health outcomes and provide relief in communities around the world. It focuses on empowering local health workers and strengthening health systems to create sustainable solutions. By training nurses, midwives, and doctors, Project HOPE ensures that communities can provide for their own health needs long after the organization leaves. In times of crisis, it delivers essential medical supplies and provides emergency aid to help people recover from natural disasters and other humanitarian emergencies. Its mission is to make health care a reality for everyone, everywhere.

My friend Isra told me about a Project Hope pop-up event where they were collecting donations for Gaza, and I was excited to go support the cause. When I arrived, I saw they had a table set up with all sorts of things for sale, including Palestinian-owned olive oil, hats, shirts, soap, books, and kaffiyehs. All the proceeds were going directly to help Gaza.

My friend and I decided to get henna done. I had a great time talking to the woman who was drawing on my hand. I really admire organizations that take action and show up for important causes.
