Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented and versatile graphic designer to join our dynamic media company. As a graphic designer, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging content for a variety of media platforms, including digital, print, broadcast, and social media. You will work closely with editorial, marketing, and production teams to produce high-quality designs that align with the company’s brand and communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
● Design graphics, illustrations, and layouts for digital content, including website banners, social media posts, online ads, video thumbnails, and email templates.
● Create print materials such as brochures, posters, magazine layouts, and promotional flyers that align with the company’s branding and campaign objectives.
● Collaborate with the editorial team to design compelling visual content that complements articles, blog posts, and news stories.
● Work with the marketing team to design assets for advertisements, promotional materials, and brand campaigns across multiple platforms (TV, online, print, etc.).
● Produce and edit motion graphics and video assets for digital and social media channels, as well as multimedia projects.
● Adapt designs to meet the technical requirements of various media formats, ensuring the highest quality output across all platforms.
● Ensure all designs adhere to the company’s brand guidelines, tone, and visual
standards.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for editorial, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
● Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
● Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies in the media and entertainment industry.
● Work closely with external vendors, printers, and partners to ensure high-quality production of physical materials.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
● Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably within the media or entertainment industry.
● Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, etc.) and Canva.
● Experience in creating graphics for digital platforms (web, social media, video, etc.).
● Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
● Ability to create motion graphics, video editing skills, or familiarity with video production tools is highly preferred.
● Knowledge of print production processes and experience preparing files for print.
● Ability to handle constructive feedback and work under tight deadlines while maintaining creative integrity.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
● Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web design best practices.
● Basic understanding of post-production and editing software.
