Position Overview:

Join our dynamic production team and gain hands-on experience in video production, from concept to final delivery. This role offers direct exposure to live broadcasts, documentary production, and digital content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist producers and directors during pre-production planning meetings
  • Support production crews during live broadcasts and field shoots
  • Help coordinate talent, crew, and equipment schedules
  • Participate in post-production editing sessions
  • Maintain production documentation and scheduling systems
  • Support quality control processes for final deliverables

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Media Production, or related field
  • Strong understanding of production workflows and terminology
  • Basic knowledge of production equipment and software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Available for occasional evening/weekend shoots
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

Write captivating captions, headlines, and calls-to-action. ● Storytelling: Develop narratives that highlight social justice issues, cultural movements, and the stories of marginalized communities, creating an emotional connection with the audience. ● Collaboration: Work with creative teams (social media, video production, marketing, and PR) to support overall content strategies, campaigns, and storytelling efforts. ● Research & Insight: Conduct research on relevant topics, current events, and trends within the media, social justice, and entertainment sectors to inform content and ensure relevance. ● Content Strategy: Assist in brainstorming creative content ideas and strategies that support the growth of Kufi Productions’ digital presence, social impact, and engagement. ● Editing & Proofreading: Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines. Ensure all content is grammatically sound and error-free. ● Performance Tracking: Collaborate with the social media and marketing teams to evaluate the effectiveness of written content through metrics and feedback, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
